Carbazole is used in luminescence chemistry as a photosensitizer and a way to move extra charges. Carbazole drugs, like carvedilol, are used to treat high blood pressure and prevent cardiac arrhythmias and angina. These drugs are all similar in how they are put together.

This Thermo Scientific product used to be made by Alfa Aesar, but now it is part of that company’s rebranded line. Some labels and instructions may still list the old brand name. The move from Alfa Aesar to Thermo Scientific did not change the product or item codes or SKU references that were used before.
