Aflatoxin B1 Rapid Test Kit

Aflatoxin B1 Rapid Test Kit

Overview:

This kit is only for screening test and rapid qualitative analysis of the aflatoxin b1 in grain sample. quantitative analysis should be further confirmed with other method.
This kit is only for screening test and rapid qualitative analysis of the aflatoxin b1 in grain sample. quantitative analysis should be further confirmed with other method.

1. Principle

This kit is based on the specific reaction of antibody-antigen and immunochromatography, the aflatoxin b1 in the grain sample compete for the antibody with the antigen coated on the membrane of the test strip. Then after a color reaction, the result can be observed.

2. Applications

This kit is only for screening test and rapid qualitative analysis of the aflatoxin b1 in grain sample. quantitative analysis should be further confirmed with other method.

3. Detection Limit (LOD):

(5 or)10ng/ml (ppb)

4. Kit components

(1) 8 micro-wells and 8 test strips in one bottle. 12 bottles / kit
(2) AFB buffer
(3) Instruction

5. Storage

2-8°C in cool dark place, don't freeze; Valid in 12 months..

6. Notice for Operations

Seal the bottle after taking out required strips; Please use the test strips within 1h; Don't touch the membrane of the strip;Don't use it repeatedly, only once.

1. Weight 10g grinded grain sample, put into a 50ml centrifuge tube.Make proper marks.

2. Add 20ml 70% methanol into the 50ml tube.

3. Shake the tube invertedly for 1-2 mins.

4.Centrifuge at 3000rpm for 3 mins.

5. Collect 100ul supernatant and add into 900ul AFB buffer, then mix well.

6. Bring samples to room tempertature( (20-25°C ), Mark them.

7. Take out required test wells, mark them.

8.Take 100ul test sample into the wells.

9. Use the tip to absorb the sample for 5 times to mix the sample and the reagent completely. Start the timer when the mixture is pink. Incubate for 5mins atroom temperature (20-25°C ) .

10. Insert the test strips into the wells with the MAX end fully dipped in to the mixture. Incubate for 5mins at room temperature (20-25°C) again.

11. Take out the strip and judge the result according to test results.

- Negative

+ Positive

Line C=Control line

Line T=Aflatoxin B1

7. Test Results

Aflatoxin B1 (-): Line C and Line T are both red, Line T color is deeper than Line C .

Aflatoxin B1 (+): Line C is red, Line T color is the same as or lighter than Line C or no color.

Invalid: Line C has no color. In this case, the test will be invalid.

Note: If the strip result needs to be recorded, please cut the foam cushion of the "MAX" end, dry the strip, then keep it as files.

8. Specificity
The kit has no cross reactions with clenbuterol, ractopamine, salbutamol, melamine, trenbolone, sulfonamides, chloramphenicol, macrolides and other drugs.
