The Instant-View® Morphine/Opiate urine drug test is a one-step, lateral flow immunoassay designed to detect morphine in human urine at a cut-off level of 2000 ng/ml. The accuracy rate is >96.2%. This test is US FDA Cleared, CE Marked and is available in some OTC Cleared/CLIA-Waived formats.
The detection of morphine in human urine is widely used to assess the abuse of opiates, the drug class by which morphine belongs. Opiates are central nervous system stimulants and are detectable in urine for 2-4 days after use. The Instant-View® Morphine/Opiate urine drug test provides qualitative screening results and is for use by healthcare professionals only. It is recommended that a more specific chemical method (i.e. GC/MS) be used in order to obtain a confirmed analytical result.
